In settlement of alleged violations of federal law prohibiting unfair acts and practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent order prohibits, among other things, a Florida-based company from misrepresenting that its bullet-resistant garments are certified, approved, endorsed, or sanctioned by any government body or private organization.
