The Government of Mexico requested that the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) allow the importation into certain areas of the United States of fresh Hass avocado fruit grown in approved orchards in approved municipalities in Michoacan, Mexico. APHIS is currently considering Mexico's request.
