US Government to Consider Importing Fresh Hass Avocados from Mexico

The US Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is reviewing Mexico's request to import fresh Hass avocado fruit grown in approved orchards in approved municipalities in Michoacan, Mexico, and is hosting public meetings to gather public comment.
