FDA Clears DEMEROL Tablets for Sale, Citing Lack of Safety or Effectiveness Concerns

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that the 100mg DEMEROL tablets and other drug products were not withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness concerns, allowing the agency to continue approving Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) for these products.
