Amendments to Streamline Importation of Distilled Spirits and Other Items

Summary

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) proposes to simplify import procedures for distilled spirits, wine, beer, and malt beverages, tobacco products, and other items, in support of the International Trade Data System and electronic filing with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The proposed changes would allow importers to submit electronic data instead of paper documents.
