Implantation or Injectable Dosage Form New Animal Drugs; Zeranol

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Pitman-Moore, Inc. The supplemental NADA provides for deletion of the caution statement in the labeling against the use of a zeranol implant in heifer (suckling beef) calves intended for reproduction.
