FDA Amends Animal Drug Regulations for Zeranol Implantation in Heifer Calves

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended the animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Pitman-Moore, Inc. for the deletion of a caution statement regarding the use of zeranol implants in heifer calves intended for reproduction.
