This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain McDonnell Douglas Model DC-10 series airplanes and KC-10 (military) airplanes. The proposed AD also would require a preventive modification of the rear spar cap of the horizontal stabilizer, which would constitute terminating action for the repetitive inspections. This proposal is prompted by reports of fatigue cracking of the rear spar cap of the horizontal stabilizer. The actions specified by the proposed AD are intended to prevent fatigue cracking of the rear spar cap of the horizontal stabilizer, which could result in reduced structural integrity of the horizontal stabilizer, and consequent reduced controllability of the airplane.

Airworthiness Directives; Dassault Aviation Airplanes

The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2023-22- 05, which applied to certain Dassault Aviation Model FAN JET FALCON and FAN JET FALCON SERIES C, D, E, F, and G airplanes. AD 2023-22-05 required revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A319-111, -112, -113, -114, -115, -131, -132, and -133 airplanes; Model A320 series airplanes; and Model A321-211, - 212, -213, -231, -232, -251N, -251NX, -252N, -252NX, -253N, -253NX, - 271N, -271NX, -272N, and -272NX airplanes. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A330-200 series airplanes; Model A330-200 Freighter series airplanes; Model A330-300 series airplanes; and Model A330-841 and -941 airplanes.
