The Rural Business-Cooperative Service is seeking applications for the SSDPG program pursuant to section 310B(e) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 1932). As provided in the Department of Defense and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act of 2011 (H.R. 1473), approximately $3.456 million in competitive grant funds is available. USDA Rural Development Cooperative Programs hereby requests proposals from eligible cooperatives and associations of cooperatives for a competitively awarded grant to fund technical assistance to small, socially-disadvantaged agricultural producers in rural areas.
