NMFS issues a proposed rule to implement Amendment 8 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Crustacean Fisheries of the Western Pacific Region (FMP). The rule would establish framework procedures for considering quota adjustments for the fishery and would eliminate a 2- year landing requirement for permit renewal. Notification and reporting procedures also would be modified.
