Staff of the USITC plans to gather primary data from crawfish producers, processors, and purchasers. The questionnaires are designed to collect information on U.S. production, sales, imports, purchases, prices employment, profit and loss, and substitutability. Information collected will be used to assess the competitive conditions in the U.S. market for crawfish. Need and Use of Information: The information collected will contribute to an assessment of the competitive conditions in the U.S. market for crawfish as requested by the Committee on Ways and Means, U.S. House of Representatives. Description of Respondents: Producers, processors, and distributors of crawfish. Number of Respondents: 350. Frequency of Responses: Reporting--One Time. Total Burden Hours: 5,218.
