The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council's Stone Crab and Spiny Lobster Advisory Panels will hold a public meeting on April 18, 1994, from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to review Draft Stone Crab Amendment 5 and a Draft Generic Amendment defining traps used in both fisheries. Amendment 5 proposes a moratorium on registering stone crab vessels and a framework procedure for implementing certain state rules in the Exclusive Economic Zone.
