The Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Land and Minerals Management proposes to withdraw 702.25 acres of public lands from location and entry under the United States mining laws for a period of 20 years, on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to protect the unique natural, scenic, cultural, and recreational values along the Sacramento River between Shasta Dam and the City of Redding.
