This order withdraws approximately 9,460.66 acres of public lands from settlement, sale, location, and entry under the general land laws, including the mining laws, and 5,570.02 acres of reserved Federal minerals from location under the mining laws, subject to valid existing rights, for a period of 20 years to protect the habitat of 12 endangered species.
