Sebacic Acid From The People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review and Notice of Partial Recision

The Department of Commerce is conducting an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on sebacic acid from The People's Republic of China (PRC) in response to a request by SST Materials, Inc. d/b/a Genesis Chemicals, Inc., a domestic producer of the subject merchandise. The period of review is July 1, 2002, through June 30, 2003. We have preliminarily determined that Guangdong Chemicals Import and Export Corporation (Guangdong) has sold subject merchandise at less than normal value. If these preliminary results are adopted in our final results of administrative review, we will instruct Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to assess antidumping duties on entries subject to this review by these exporters.
