The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is announcing the availability of the report "Assessing the Effectiveness of the Listeria monocytogenes Interim Final Rule." The report was written by the Agency's Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes) Assessment Team (Team) and presents the findings and recommendations of the Team which was responsible for assessing and measuring the effectiveness of the regulation to control L. monocytogenes in certain ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry products.
