Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Public Laws 92-463 and 94-579, that the California Desert District Advisory Council to the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior, will participate in a field tour of the BLM-administered public lands within the Northern and Eastern Mojave Management Planning area on Thursday, October 29, 1998, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and meet in formal session on Friday, October 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, October 31 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Friday and Saturday public meetings will be held in the Reflections Room at Buffalo Bills, located at 31700 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Primm, Nevada (Stateline). The Council and members of the public will assemble for the field tour at the Buffalo Bills parking lot at 7:15 a.m., and depart at 7:30 a.m. The tour will focus on the BLM portion of public lands within the Northern and Eastern Mojave Management (NEMO) Planning area. Presentations and discussions will focus on issues being addressed in the draft management plan.
