This document publishes in the Federal Register an amendment adopting Airworthiness Directive (AD) T98-25-51 that was sent previously to all known U.S. owners and operators of certain Airbus Model A310 and A300-600 airplanes by individual telegrams. This AD requires deactivation of both thrust reversers and a revision of the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) to ensure that safe and appropriate performance is achieved during certain takeoff conditions. This action is prompted by issuance of mandatory continuing airworthiness information by a foreign civil airworthiness authority.
