The Rural Utilities Service (RUS), USDA will hold two public scoping meetings in support of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) being conducted for the Lincoln-Pipestone Rural Water System (LPRWS) in southwestern Minnesota. The RUS published a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement in the Thursday, June 8, 1995, Federal Register, 60 FR 30265-66. In that notice it was announced that the dates and locations of the meetings would be published once final arrangements had been made. This information has also been published in a number of weekly and daily newspapers in the areas affected by this action.
