This action proposes to modify Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface at Fort Scott Municipal Airport, Fort Scott, KS, and Phillipsburg Municipal Airport, Phillipsburg, KS. The FAA is proposing this action due to the decommissioning of the Fort Scott non-directional beacon (NDB) and the Phillipsburg NDB and the cancellation of the associated instrument approach procedures.
