The 1988 Commission on Base Realignment and Closure established by the Defense Authorization Amendment and Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1988, Public Law 100- 526, recommended the closure of ALAAP. The proposed action is the disposal of property made available by the closure of ALAAP.
