Résumé

Pursuant to section 127(b)(1) of the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (URAA) (19 U.S.C. 3537(b)(1)), the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is providing notice that a dispute settlement panel convened under the Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization (WTO) at the request of India will examine a U.S. transitional safeguard restriction on woven wool shirt and blouse imports from India (category 440) applied pursuant to the Uruguay Round Agreement on Textiles and Clothing (ATC). USTR also invites written comments from the public concerning the issues raised in the dispute.

App. II), expects to establish a new four-year charter term and is accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in serving as a member of the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN). The ACTPN is a trade advisory committee that provides general policy advice and guidance to the U.S. Trade Representative on trade policy.

App. II), expects to establish a new two-year charter term and is accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in serving as a member of the Trade and Environment Policy Advisory Committee (TEPAC). The TEPAC is a trade advisory committee that provides general policy advice and guidance to the U.S. Trade Representative on trade policy matters that have a significant impact on the environment.

Request for Comments on Significant Foreign Trade Barriers for the 2027 National Trade Estimate Report

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), through the Trade Policy Staff Committee (TPSC), publishes the National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers (NTE Report) each year. USTR invites comments to assist it and the TPSC in identifying significant foreign barriers to, or distortions of, U.S. exports of goods and services and U.S. foreign direct investment for inclusion in the NTE Report. USTR also will consider responses to this notice as part of the annual review of the operation and effectiveness of all U.S. trade agreements regarding telecommunications products and services that are in force with respect to the United States.

Notice of Extended Deadline for Written Responses to the Initial Round of Comments About the Administration's Action Following a Determination of Import Injury With Regard to Quartz Surface Products (QSP)

On May 15, 2026, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), on behalf of the Trade Policy Staff Committee (TPSC), published in the Federal Register a process by which domestic producers, importers, exporters, and other interested parties may submit views and evidence on the appropriateness of the safeguard measure recommended by the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) with respect to its determination that quartz surface products (QSP) are being imported into the United States in such increased quantities as to be a substantial cause of serious injury, or the threat thereof, to the domestic industry producing an article that is like or directly competitive with the imported article. Because of technical difficulties associated with posting documents to the docket, USTR is extending the deadline for filing responses to the initial round of comments until June 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST. In addition, USTR is notifying interested parties of the start time for the public hearing.

Notice of Determination and Request for Comments Concerning Action Pursuant to Section 301: Brazil's Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Digital Trade and Electronic Payment Services; Unfair, Preferential Tariffs; Anti-Corruption Enforcement; Intellectual Property Protection; Ethanol Market Access; and Illegal Deforestation

The United States Trade Representative (Trade Representative) has determined that certain of Brazil's acts, policies, and practices at issue in this investigation are actionable under Section 301(b) and Section 304(a) of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended (Trade Act). The Trade Representative is proposing action, including tariffs on articles of Brazil and certain exemptions, and invites comments from the public.
