Prevention of Significant Deterioration; South Dakota; Delegation of Authority

Résumé

EPA is providing notice that it granted delegation of authority to the State of South Dakota on July 6, 1994 to implement and enforce the Federal Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting regulations. This delegation was a result of a November 12, 1993 request for delegation from the State. EPA is consequently revising 40 CFR 52.2178 to indicate that all future PSD permit applications and information should be submitted to the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources, rather than to the EPA Region VIII office.
