Resumen
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the withdrawal, without prejudice to a future filing, of a food additive petition (FAP 9B4147). The petition proposed that the food additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe, increased use of ethylenebis(oxyethylene)-bis-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5- methylhydrocinnamate) as a stabilizer for polyoxymethylene copolymers and homopolymers intended for food-contact use.
