Notice of Availability of Record of Decision for the Coyote Springs Cogeneration Project

Resumen

Today's notice announces the availability of the ROD to authorize the use of the Federal Columbia River Transmission System (FCRTS) to transmit power from Unit 1 of Portland General Electric's (PGE) proposed Coyote Springs Cogeneration Plant to the Portland Metropolitan Area, relying on the analysis in the Coyote Springs Cogeneration Project Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). This decision would be achieved by building the proposed transmission facilities that are required to interconnect the proposed plant with the FCRTS and by revising the general transmission agreement with PGE to establish Coyote springs as a point of interconnection for wheeling services.
