Washington State Ferries to Convert Six Ferries to Liquefied Natural Gas Propulsion

The Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound has received a Letter of Intent and Waterway Suitability Assessment from Washington State Ferries to convert six ferries to liquefied natural gas propulsion, and will review and validate the assessment in cooperation with key stakeholders before issuing a Letter of Recommendation to the State of Washington Department of Transportation.
