NRC to Host ACMUI Meeting on Medical Isotope-Related Topics

Summary

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will host a meeting of the Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes (ACMUI) on October 19-20, 2009, to discuss various medical isotope-related topics, including a report from the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and updates on permanent prostate brachytherapy and the medical isotope shortage.
