ترجمة آلية محلية · اللغة الأصلية للمصدر

الملخص

On October 17, 1994, the NRC published (59 FR 52255) for public comment a proposed revision of 10 CFR parts 50, 52, and 100 to update the criteria used in decisions regarding power reactor siting, including geologic, seismic, and earthquake engineering considerations for future nuclear power plants. The comment period was to expire on February 14, 1995. On February 8, 1995, the Commission stated (60 FR 7467) that it intended to extend the comment period to allow interested persons adequate time to provide comments on staff guidance documents consisting of five draft regulatory guides and three standard review plan sections that were to accompany the proposed rule, but were delayed in issuance. The Commission stated that it would extend the comment period 75 days after the staff guidance documents became available. Availability of the above staff guidance documents is being announced in the Notices section of this issue of the Federal Register. The comment period for the proposed rule is hereby extended to May 12, 1995.
