NRC Extends Comment Period for Nuclear Power Plant Siting Criteria

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the public comment period for a proposed revision to the criteria used in decisions regarding power reactor siting, including geologic, seismic, and earthquake engineering considerations, until May 12, 1995, following the release of additional staff guidance documents.
