The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Model DHC-8-401 and - 402 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports that following a main landing gear (MLG) extension, one of the MLGs could not be locked in the gear down position due to deterioration of greasing effectiveness over time. This AD requires repetitive lubrication of the MLG assembly. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Airworthiness Directives; Embraer S.A. (Type Certificate Previously Held by Yaborã Indústria Aeronáutica S.A.; Embraer S.A.) Airplanes

Airworthiness Directives; Bell Textron Canada Limited Helicopters

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bell Textron Canada Limited (BTCL) Model 407 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a determination that chafing can occur at various locations on the electrical harnesses located in the aircraft instrument panel area. This AD requires a one-time detailed visual inspection of the electrical harnesses for chafing and corrective actions if necessary. This AD also requires rotation of the backshell cast housing of connectors of the lower engine airframe unit and installation of a wire harness bracket and support, and for certain helicopters, installation of a wire bundle sleeve. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc., Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports that inappropriate tooling was used to torque the bolts securing the baggage door stop fittings, which may have resulted in an improper torque condition. This AD requires performing a torque check of affected bolts and re-torquing, re- installing, or replacing affected bolts and nuts as applicable. Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A330-200 series airplanes; Model A330-200 Freighter series airplanes; Model A330-300 series airplanes; and Model A330-841 and -941 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of an in-service event and relevant investigation which found that, under specific conditions, a dormant failure of a standby fuel pump could lead to a certain amount of fuel being trapped in the aft section of the inner tank that would be unusable. This AD requires repetitive operational checks of the standby fuel pumps and corrective actions and limits the installation of affected parts under certain conditions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Airworthiness Directives; Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. Airplanes

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. (DAI) Model DA20-C1 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report of a certain emergency locator transmitter (ELT) not activating due to a missing jumper wire. This proposed AD would require a continuity inspection of the D-sub connector of the Artex ELT 1000 and, if necessary, corrective actions. Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. This AD was prompted by the obsolescence of the clamp holding in place the oxygen generator in the container and introduction of a new clamp from another manufacturer with different locking torque specifications, which were not properly reflected in Airbus documentation. This AD requires replacing each affected part, prohibits accomplishing maintenance actions using certain versions of a maintenance procedure task, and also prohibits the installation of affected parts. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
