摘要

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering renewal of Operating Facility License No. R-130, held by the Regents of the University of California for the University of California Davis (UCD, the licensee), for the continued operation of the McClellan Nuclear Research Center (MNRC) Training, Research, Isotopes, General Atomics (TRIGA) reactor (the reactor, facility), located in the city of North Highlands, Sacramento County, California. In connection with the renewed license, the licensee also seeks to operate at a maximum licensed power level of 1.0 megawatt-thermal (MWt). The NRC is issuing an environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) associated with the proposed action.
