Under 122(h) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation andLiability Act (CERCLA), the United States Environmental Protection Agency has entered into asettlement with the Blue Ridge Plating Company, Inc. and Carolyn Benfield concerning the Blue RidgePlating Company Superfund Site located in Arden, Buncombe County North Carolina. The settlementaddresses recovery of CERCLA costs for a cleanup action performed by the EPA at the Site.
