The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that Asahi Denka Kogyo K.K. has filed a petition proposing that the food additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of aluminum, hydroxybis[2,4,8,10-tetrakis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-6-hydroxy- 12H-dibenzo[d,g][1,3,2]dioxaphosphocin 6-oxidato]- as a clarifying agent for polypropylene and polypropylene copolymers intended for use in contact with food.
