The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that Asahi Denka Kogyo K.K. has filed a petition proposing that the food additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of tridecanol phosphite condensation product with butylidenebis[2-(1,1- dimethylethyl)-5-methyl-4,1-phenylene] as an antioxidant and/or stabilizer in styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymer to be used as a component of pressure-sensitive adhesives intended for use in contact with food.
