The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a proposed rule that appeared in the Federal Register of April 24, 1998 (63 FR 20486). The document would require warning statements on packaged fruit and vegetable juice products that have not been processed to destroy pathogenic microorganisms that may be present.
