The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the withdrawal, without prejudice to a future filing, of a petition (GRASP 1G0376) proposing that -cyclodextrin be affirmed as generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for use as a formulation aid in the production of dry flavoring mixes for preparation of cocktail-type alcoholic beverages.
