On June 2, 1994, the Knox County Department of Air Pollution Control requested that EPA delegate authority for implementation and enforcement of additional categories of New Source Performance Standards (NSPS). Since EPA's review of Knox County's pertinent laws, rules, and regulations showed them to be adequate and effective procedures for the implementation and enforcement of these Federal standards, EPA has made the delegation as requested.
