The Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announces a 90-day petition finding to list the Santa Ana Mountains population of the California mountain lion (Felis concolor californica) as endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). The Service finds that the petition did not present substantial scientific or commercial information indicating that the population meets the definition of ``species'' under the Act.
