摘要

The Department of State is repealing the South Africa and Fair Labor Standards Regulations to reflect the repeal of code of conduct requirements of the Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid Act of 1986 as of the date on which the President certified to the Congress that an interim government, elected on a nonracial basis through free and fair elections, has taken office in South Africa. The repeal of the code of conduct requirements is provided for in section 4(a)(2) of the South African Democratic Transition Support Act of 1993. The certification was made to Congress on June 8, 1994. The last annual report regarding implementation of the registration and reporting requirements established in 22 CFR part 63 will cover calendar year 1993.
