Notice of Information Collection Under OMB Emergency Review: Adoptive Family Relief Act Refund Application

摘要

The Department of State has submitted the information collection request described below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the emergency review procedures of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (5 CFR 1320.13). The purpose of this notice is to allow for public comment from all interested individuals and organizations. Emergency review and approval of this collection has been requested from OMB by April 29, 2016. If granted, the emergency approval is only valid for 180 days. The Department plans to follow this emergency request with a submission for a 3 year approval through OMB's normal PRA clearance process (5 CFR 1320.10).

Passports: Expanding Online Passport Renewal Overseas

The Department proposes to amend 22 CFR 51.21 by consolidating requirements for persons applying by mail and online in the United States and overseas. This proposed change includes expanding online passport application availability to qualified applicants located in foreign countries. In addition, the Department is proposing to remove the requirement that an applicant's most recently issued passport must have a year or less of remaining validity to qualify to submit an online passport application. Finally, the Department is proposing technical corrections to 51.8(b) to change "on-line" to read "online" for consistency.

Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

Official Gift Records and Gift Donor Vetting Records, State- 80, consists of an accounting of all donations received on behalf of the Department of State for the purposes of: maintaining a historical record, properly allocating donations given for a particular purpose, determining future solicitation and gift acceptance, and providing donors with acknowledgment letters for tax purposes. Gift Donor Vetting Records keeps an accounting of the due diligence vetting process conducted on individuals to determine the potential for conflicts of interest with respect to gifts, potential gifts, and potential partnerships with the Department of State.

Notice of Determinations; Culturally Significant Objects Being Imported for Exhibition-Determinations: “Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450-1500” Exhibition

Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects being imported from abroad pursuant to agreements with their foreign owners or custodians for temporary display in the exhibition "Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450- 1500" at The Frick Collection, New York, New York, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, are of cultural significance, and, further, that their temporary exhibition or display within the United States as aforementioned is in the national interest. I have ordered that Public Notice of these determinations be published in the Federal Register.
