The Coast Guard will enforce a safety zone on December 30, 2023, for the University of Texas Sugar Bowl Barge Show fireworks display located on the navigable waters of the Lower Mississippi River between Mile Marker (MM) 95.5 and MM 96.5. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waterways during this event.
