Termination of Designation of the State of North Dakota with Respect to the Inspection of Meat and Meat Food Products

This final rule amends the Federal meat inspection regulations by terminating the designation of the State of North Dakota under Titles I, II, and IV of the Federal Meat Inspection Act (FMIA). The State of North Dakota has enacted a State meat inspection program law and regulations that impose inspection requirements that are at least equal to those requirements of the FMIA. The State of North Dakota will remain designated under sections 1-4, 6-10, and 12-22 of the Poultry Products Inspection Act (PPIA).
