Amendments to the Tobacco Marketing Quota Regulations

This rule implements the provisions of the Agricultural Risk Protection Act of 2000 (ARPA) regarding transfers of tobacco allotments, the lease and transfer of burley tobacco quota and record keeping for burley tobacco quota and acreage. It also implements the provisions of the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2001 (the 2001 Act) regarding the Tobacco Loss Assistance Program 2000 (TLAP00).
