On May 5, 1993, the Knox County Department of Air Pollution Control requested that EPA delegate authority for implementation and enforcement of an additional category of New Source Performance Standards (NSPS). Since EPA's review of Knox County's pertinent laws, rules, and regulations showed them to be adequate for the implementation and enforcement of this Federal standard, the Agency has made the delegation as requested.
