This notice announces receipt of and publishes the LG petition for waiver (hereafter, "petition") from parts of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) test procedure for determining the energy consumption of electric refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers. Today's notice also grants an interim waiver of the test procedures applicable to residential refrigerator-freezers. Through this document, DOE is soliciting comments with respect to the LG petition.
