The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the availability of a guidance entitled "Guidance for Industry: Qualified Health Claims in the Labeling of Conventional Foods and Dietary Supplements." This guidance updates the agency's approach to implementing the court of appeals decision in Pearson v. Shalala (Pearson) to include conventional foods.
