Özet
NCUA proposes to amend its rule that permits a Federal credit union to provide reasonable retirement benefits to its employees and officers. These amendments clarify the scope of the rule and the investments federal credit unions may use to fund employee benefits. This proposal is substantially similar to an earlier proposal issued in December 2001, but, as a result of comments received in response to the earlier proposal, addresses additional investment issues related to particular benefit plans.
