Federal Travel Regulation, General Guides and Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel Allowances

This final rule amends the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) to add new Chapter 300 which contains general guidance on how to use the FTR and agency reporting requirements, and a revised Chapter 301 regarding temporary duty (TDY) travel allowances except Appendixes A and B. Chapters 300-301 form the beginning of the plain language FTR 1998 Edition. Current chapters 302-304 remain in effect until superseded by a rule in the plain language format to be published at a future date.
