On July 16, 1996 (61 FR 37132), the Department published a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) in the Federal Register announcing the availability of approximately $50,000,000 in FY 1996 funding for the Economic Development Initiative Program. The document indicated that information collection requirements contained in the notice had been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget for review and approval under section 3507 of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501-3520), and that when approved, the OMB control number would be announced by separate notice in the Federal Register. The purpose of this document is to announce the OMB approval number for the July 16, 1996 notice.
