Özet
On December 24, 1996, the Commission released a First Report and Order which is published elsewhere in this issue. On the same day, the Commission adopted a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM) seeking comment on proposed disclosure requirements to implement section 272(e)(1). The intended effect of this FNPRM is to further the Commission's goal of fostering competition in the telecommunications market.
